Little could be said about the renewal of the Skoda Octavia. The designers slightly modified the fog lights, placing them higher and making them elongated. The entire lower part of the Skoda Octavia grille is divided by a chrome strip.

For the rest, we can say that the Skoda Octavia at the front has remained the same, the features of the hood extend from the radiator grille to the windshield. Thus, it becomes clear that the new Skoda Octavia has gone through a small facelift, and not a complete update. This can be clearly seen from the side of the car, it remained one to one, as in the previous generation. That is why the designers have developed the outer part of the optics in such a way that it partially repeats the shapes of the previous generation of Octavia.

Such calculations served for a quick presentation of the updated Skoda Octavia and an early delivery to dealerships. As you already know, the novelty will appear in car dealerships in Russia in mid-spring 2017, approximately on April 1.

The side part of the Skoda Octavia really has not changed much, and if there is, then these are not at all significant forms. The features of the curves on the top and bottom of the doors, door handles and one-on-one mirrors were left the same. The width of the red strip can be 20 mm or 30 mm. Otherwise, the shape and arrangement of the items remained exactly the same. The nameplates on the trunk lid are still in place, like the Skoda emblem.

The boot lid remains the same, as does the rear bumper. In the side parts of the bumper there are rear fog lights, and in the central lower part there is a black diffuser. Critics say that small changes could still be made. For example, insert two tailpipes into the diffuser, thus highlighting the updated design at the rear.

The last one on the Skoda Octavia list is the TSI engine with a volume of 1.8 liters. Some may say that the designers of the Octavia borrowed a lot from the previously famous Mercedes-Benz E Class, namely the front optics, the shape of the radiator grill, as well as some parts of the interior. But in reality, Skoda has enough of its own developments, which were previously found on the Kodiaq, Superb or Yeti models.
