The declared parameters of the Audi RS3 were not the limit for this hatchback. Tuning agency MTM has shown what this charged shorty is capable of.
It would seem that the declared parameters by the car manufacturer, this is always its limit. But not so long ago, tuning agency MTM dispelled that myth by making an even more charged hatchback with the Audi RS3. One bad thing is that it was not officially filmed. So, the RS3 with a turbocharged five-cylinder engine was accelerated to a speed of 300 km / h.
The Audi RS3 comes standard with a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of delivering 367 hp. With these parameters, taking into account the fact that the RS3 is equipped with a quattro AWD system and a seven-speed gearbox, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is 4.3 seconds.
But most of all we were interested in the maximum speed, which is declared by the manufacturer at 250 km / h for standard equipment and 280 km / h if you buy an additional special package with different tires in the front and rear.
Whatever one may say, but the Audi RS3 is the most powerful car from the VW group delivered on the MQB platform, and can compete well with some gasoline models. So, the German tuning agency MTM decided to refine these limits. And we have presented our update package for the RS3 8V, which we expect to see soon at the Essen Motor Show in Germany.
As you know, this upgrade package increases the engine power from 367 hp. up to 435 hp, the torque after the upgrade is 605 Nm. And according to rumors, this is not the limit, which the tuning agency announced. According to MTM's conversations, they are testing the 500 hp Audi RS3. As MTM Chief Engineer Roland Meyer says: “The Audi RS3 is a great vehicle that can be used for various power boost tests. And we will not stop at this achievement, we will soon introduce a better package that will deliver even more power than we announced. "
As you already understood from the words of the MTM engineers, if you have a desire to improve your Audi RS3, then you can turn to them, and they will gladly do it for you. To do this, you will need an amount of € 3005. The latest power refinement will allow the RS3 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, and to 200 km / h in 14 seconds.
They also offer to install additional accessories on your upgraded hatchback for an additional fee. Nardo wheels for € 2900, improved brakes € 3490, improved exhaust system € 4250. It is also possible to make a carbon spoiler and diffuser for a special order. If this is still not enough for you, then you can additionally order carbon seats in the Audi RS3, which do not look very nice and resemble the seats of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.
